One year on
I'm not usually someone for celebrating dates, but this time last year I started my Back Her Business Crowdfunder project. Like any business there was a lot of preparation involved to get me to that point, my thanks go to the Start Up Wirral team for there support and encouragement.
I will always be so grateful to those who backed me and became my first customers. Their support really helped me to have confidence in myself and business plan. If you are interested in how I began, my project can still be found at https://natwestbackherbusiness.co.uk/merseywaxwraps . Thanks to Natwest, I was able to kickstart my business, starting with my web site back in February.
One year on, i'm a little older and little wiser (I hope) and a little more confident in myself and my business. Sufficed to say this year has been unique. I feel fortunate to have a business that can continue to grow and have customers who like what I do.
We all have our ways of coping with unexpected changes, mine was to continue to continue to keep an active business profile without expecting too much of myself. If you have read my previous blogs, you will know that we have a small child. I have enjoyed investing time in my family and continuing to find ways to make happy memories with our daughter.
As 2020 draws to a close, there are exciting times a foot. I am looking forward to seeing where new collaborations take me and the business. To keep up to date, by all means follow me on Instagram @merseywaxwraps
So who knows what the next year will bring. One thing I shall continue to do is to ride the waves and take each day as it comes.
I hope you have found your way to stay grounded during this year and that you have continued to find a way to make happy memories.
